Zuri Health announces its launch in Senegal through a partnership with Expresso Senegal. The partnership between Zuri Health and Expresso Senegal look to revolutionize e-health in Senegal and Africa at large. This application of mobile technologies in the healthcare sector is a way of providing high-quality and easily accessible medical care at an affordable cost.

This merger of technology and healthcare will provide value across the entire chain. How this works is any Senegalese Expresso Telecom subscriber will send a keyword to 28008 to subscribe to the service upon which he then chats and consults with their doctor via SMS.
Patients then get real-time and reliable responses from certified doctors, affordable healthcare, secure and protected private health information. Most of the users in Senegal who lack access to internet-enabled devices or smartphones can receive first-level medical consultation from qualified medical professionals through SMS.
