Enygma Ventures makes Last Call for 2020 investment applications

Enygma Ventures partners with Startup Circles to launch a platform supporting new and existing businesses working towards solving systemic problems across the globe. Branded as a unique purpose fund, Enygma Ventures provides seed funding and mentorship scholarships to the startups selected.

According to its website, Enygma Ventures is looking for; Business tasked with solving problems affecting Southern Africa (SADC) region, and ideas that are scalable and address the wide market. This business concept is open for both male and male entrepreneurs and has the ability to generate profit.

The final call is targeting female innovators and entrepreneurs seeking investments for 2020.  Finalists will join businesses such as Lupiya, Play Sense, Black Mamba, and Job Crystal, 3 of whom are part of Enygma Ventures’ portfolio of women-led businesses funded in 2020 and received pre-seed investment.

All businesses chosen will advance to the  Enygma Ventures’ Investor Readiness Programme where they shall have an opportunity to receive equity investment between $250,000 to $1 million. All early-stage ideas that qualify will receive scholarships from Startup Circles’ Acceleration Programme and an additional $25,000 in pressed equity investment.

Those that miss out on the main prize will get support from Startup Circles – an African startup school supporting over 5,000 entrepreneurs across the continent helping them fast-track the ideation and the validation process. Find out more at their website.
