Facebook Collaborates with BellaNaija and Guardian TV to Bring out SMBs in Ghana

TechInAfrica – BellaNaija & Guardian TV has partnered with Facebook to be the part of the campaign created by Facebook, known as #FBSuccessStory. This initiative is made to light up the entrepreneurs in Ghana on using Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to increase their business.

Kezia Anim-Addo, Facebook’s Head of Communications for Africa said that Facebook is honored to have the role in allowing small and medium businesses to grow and scale. Facebook understands that the cornerstone of the economy is small and medium businesses. SMBs also produce some significant contributions for the country. The campaign aims to celebrate the impacts made by small and medium business in Ghana and beyond. 

#FBSuccessStory will be available exclusively on both BellaNaija and Nigerian online TV platform, Guardian TV from November 19th to 21st December 2020. The two entrepreneurs chosen include Aisha Ayensu, founder of Christie Brown, a luxury Ghanaian fashion brand and Ameyaw Debrah, the founder of the popular Ameyawdebrah.com, and a video production channel and a content creation platform focused on entertainment and lifestyle, Ameyaw TV. 

By using platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram, brands and products from small and medium businesses are more visible to more people across the world. The platform allows business to prompt direct sales and communicate with clients both locally and internationally, leading to an amazing growth that directs to amazing growth, according to Aisha Ayensu of Christie Brown. Ayensu added that Christie Brown is able to host its first-ever virtual show on Instagram LIVE where it’s reached over 30,000 viewers.
