PlayBox Technology has appointed Pixsel Africa Limited as its master distributor in East Africa region. Therefore, Pixsel Africa Limited will offer the services of PlayBox Technology in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. Pixsel Africa Limited is based in Nairobi Kenya and it will take the responsibility of selling, demonstrating products, integrating systems and offering post-sale services to customers in the region.
Kenny Munro, the founder and Managing Director of Pixsel commented that PlayBox technology has set its global pace in broadcast sector. He also said that the company has established good reputations not only in Africa but globally. Moreover, the AirBox from PlayBox technology has been an aspirational brand to Pixsel. Besides, Kenny said that the AirBox Neo provides a platform allows for connection of local stations to a multichannel network. Consequently, the multichannel network addresses different zones in various languages.
Moreover, the AirBox Neo is easy to maintain and is compact. Therefore, it allows for fast staff training beside offering a friendly interface. Kenny also said that customers who prefer Neo/CloudAir hybrid to AirBox can get them since Pixsel will supply and commission them. Furthermore, Kenny said that Pixsel will promote CloudAir since it offers affordable solution for disaster recovery centers. Besides, CloudAir is safe.
Additionally, Ben Gunkel, the Chief Commercial Officer of PlayBox Technology UK said that the partnership between Pixsel and PlayBox Technology will give Pixsel a better marketing image in the region. Ben also said that Kenny and his team have an in-depth understanding of PlayBox Technology’s products. Therefore, they were to act as the best partners to market these products in the region, telling the customers the advantages of the products. Finally, he said that the Neo and AirBox solutions if well explained will help newly established startups and channels in the region.
